Grouping layers by folder¶
Tasks related to grouping the layers and moving them in and out of folders, or simply changing the order of the layers are accomplished through ‘dragging’ and ‘dropping’ the layers from one location to another inside the Legend View.
Putting a layer into a folder¶
- Click on the layer (outside a folder)
- Drag-and-drop towards the target folder
- Your layer will be placed on the top of list inside the folder
- Or drag-and-drop on a position inside the folder
- Your layer will be inserted on the specified position inside the folder
Moving a layer to another folder¶
- Click on the layer (inside a folder)
- Drag-and-drop towards the target folder
- Your layer will be placed on the top of list inside the folder
- Or drag-and-drop on a position inside the folder
- Your layer will be inserted on the specified position inside the folder
Moving a layer out of a folder¶
- Click on the layer (inside a folder)
- Drag-and-drop towards the target position outside the folder
- Your layer will be inserted on the specified position outside the folder
Changing layer position¶
- Click on the layer
- Drag-and-drop towards the position
- Your layer will be moved to the specified position
